Local notes:

Step 1: Install Required Software

open console for PHP8.3 in OSPanel (in menu Modules->PHP->PHP8.3->Open in console)
cd home
Download and install Composer (if not exist) from: https://getcomposer.org/download/
After installation, verify it using: composer -v

Step 2: Install Laravel 13

install Laravel 13 using Composer: composer create-project laravel/laravel laravel13.local "13.*"
or if Laravel 13 is the latest stable version: composer create-project laravel/laravel13.local
copy folder (from another project) .osp with project.ini file. Fix settings in project.ini file
Now open in browser: laravel13.local (must be ok)
After installation, move into project folder: cd laravel13.local
Start the development server: php artisan serve
Now open in browser: http://127.0.0.1:8000/ (Press Cntrl+C to stop the serve)

Step 3: Create Database
Now create a new MySQL database with the name: ai_ecommerce
You can create it using:
• phpMyAdmin
• MySQL Workbench / DBBeaver
• Command Line

Step 4: Configure .env File in project

DB_CONNECTION=mysql
DB_HOST=MySQL-8.0
DB_PORT=3306
DB_DATABASE=lara13
DB_USERNAME=root
DB_PASSWORD=

Step 5: Run Default Migrations

Now run: php artisan migrate
This will create default tables like:
• users
• password_reset_tokens
• sessions
• cache
• jobs
• migrations
